KAY BRADBURN is a True Encourager. . .
If anyone in this group is a "lifter-upper of spirits" or is always ready with a kind word, it is Kay. One of the original authors who started writing when asked to write, Kay has been a major contributor to the daily devotions and has even authored and published her own book, "My Father's World."
Having spent most of her adult life (40 years) as a techical writing instructor at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Kay has been "retired" for a few years, now, although that does not mean she has slowed down any, at all. Besides still editing manuscripts and books, she has traveled with her husband throughout the United States and to Hawaii. She tells her tales of travel in her devotions, and also to anyone who gives her the opportunity to speak. Having been a teacher, she is experienced in public speaking and has a repertoire of life events that can cause one to laugh, cry, think and wonder as she weaves her words around the room.
Being blessed by two grandchildren, one of whom is a special needs child with Down Syndrome, Kay can touch the hearts of many other families with similar needs. She has become quite an advocate for little ones whose voices are not able to be heard, yet, and she has a heart for everyone - but especially for God.
