TOTALLY AWESOME GRACE

TO SHOW GOD'S LOVE FROM AN "EVERY DAY" POINT OF VIEW

JULY-AUGUST, 2010

SUSAN SADLER, Called to Serve. . .

As is happening more and more often, these days, families are finding that the "empty nest syndrome" is not always the natural progression of life, anymore. Any number of events or circumstances can happen that cause the children who have left home the first time, to come back the second time, bringing their children with them and refilling that nest, once again.

Such is the story for Susan, who is blessed to have three generations living under one roof. (Fortunately, one person for each generation, or she'd have to move!) While this could be a sticky situation in some cases, it is far from that in the Sadler household. Susan recognizes the hand of God at work in each of her offsprings' lives, and she welcomes the opportunity to be part of it and to be able to serve as a mother, grandmother, friend and mentor, all wrapped up into one tiny person.

While she may be tiny, her spunk and outreach are huge! Susan has written for Totally Awesome Grace since its first book was published, and she has continued to write daily devotions. Fortunately for all concerned, she is always willing to go to the next level with the group, whatever that may be, and continues to work with her musical groups and worship team regularly.

The story of Susan - called to serve, and still serving - with joy.
